Cookie Policy

YieldKey Limited

Effective date: 14 August 2026 · Last updated: 19 August 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on our websites (yieldkey.ai and yieldkey.co.uk). It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

For information about cookies generally, see https://ico.org.uk/your-data-matters/online/cookies/.

2. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and tags. In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these.

Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by third parties whose services we use (for example, analytics tools or our hosting platform).

3. Cookies we currently use

By default, our website sets no cookies at all. When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. If you reject, or simply do nothing, nothing is set. Your choice itself is remembered in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics sets the following:

CookiePurposeLasts
_gaTells returning visitors apart (anonymised ID)2 years
_ga_*Keeps track of your visit as one session2 years

If you accept marketing cookies, the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag load and set:

CookiePurposeLasts
_fbpLets Meta tell browsers apart for ad measurement and retargeting3 months
_fbcSet only if you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad; records that the ad brought you3 months
li_fat_idLets LinkedIn measure whether its ads brought you here30 days

When it loads, LinkedIn may also set cookies on its own linkedin.com domain (such as bcookie and UserMatchHistory). If we add further advertising tools, this policy will list their cookies before they are used.

4. How consent works on this site

No non-essential cookie is set before you have given specific, freely given, informed consent, as required by UK PECR Regulation 6 and UK GDPR. In practice:

  1. The banner offers Accept all, Reject all, and per-category Settings, with equal prominence
  2. Nothing loads until you accept its category
  3. You can change your mind at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer
  4. Withdrawing consent stops the cookies from being used on your next page load

5. How to control cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
  • Firefox: Preferences → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Our website works fully even with all cookies blocked; only your cookie choice itself would stop being remembered between visits.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy whenever we change our cookie usage. The current version, with its effective date, will always be published at this URL.
